Dr. Meena Khetrapal (PhD in Chemistry) was inspired to start SelfKare by SK as a result of her daughter's clean beauty journey. Her daughter was diagnosed with PCOS at a young age which caused her multiple skin issues including cystic acne. None of the store-bought products helped soothe her skin so Dr. Meena developed products for her daughter that were extremely gentle on the skin yet super effective, did not clog pores and did not irritate the skin.
